Rare Limited Edition 3-track cd single from Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Zeppelin's main songwriters reformed on April 17, 1994 as a part of the Alexis Korner Memorial Concert at Buxton, England. On August 25 and August 26, they taped performances in London, Wales, and Morocco with Egyptian and Moroccan orchestration of several Led Zeppelin tunes along with four new songs.

Afterwards, they entered the studio with legendary engineer Steve Albini to record Walking into Clarksdale, an album of entirely new material. This album was not as commercially successful as Unledded had been, and the Page/Plant reunion slowly dissolved.

Motley Crue - November 3, 1984 - Metal Bastards

Metal Bastards is a vinyl bootleg recorded on 11/3/1984 at Gotheborg Sweden and released in 1985. This gives a great look at Motley Crue when they had just two albums out. Their sound is raw and exciting.

This is a vinyl bootleg and there were only 150 copies pressed. My copy was never played before I ripped it. There is not a single scratch or tick to be heard in this rip. The only noise on this recording is from the original soundboard master and the noise that comes from vinyl naturally. Beware that while this recording is not as clean as a CD, it is as good as you can possibly get from a piece of vinyl pressed 23 years ago!

Destiny's Child is the self-titled debut album of R&B group Destiny's Child, released by Columbia Records in 1998. It featured the singles "No, No, No" and "With Me" and won Best R&B/Soul Album of the Year at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, but due to both singles having a remix ("Part 2") as well as having an original version ("Part 1"), all singles preceded the album.

The album spent twenty six weeks on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, but never passed the number 63. In the UK, it debuted in the top 75 of the albums chart on the strength of its lead single, "No, No, No". The album did go on to sell 3 million copies worldwide, and was re-packaged and re-released in several countries.

Aguilera has a strong voice, but patterns herself after iffy role models such as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Aside from "Genie," most of this music is straight from the cookie cutter, like the less than successfully sultry "When You Put Your Hands on Me" and the Mulan ballad showpiece "Reflection." In chart terms, though, there'll be no stopping her--at least for a while.

With its heavy-duty distortion, weighty rhythms, and cynical lyrics, Tool is a heavy metal band for the 1990s. Rather like Metallica circa ...And Justice for All, the sound is focused heavily on texture, with vocals and guitars layered one atop the other, and heart-pounding drums underlying everything. There's not a whole lot of variety on Tool's second full-length album--most of the songs start off fairly low-key, kicking into high gear for the chorus, and repeat--but Maynard James Keenan's distinctive voice, the prog-rock stylings over a heavy metal base, and a supremely unhealthy dose of vitriol make this the perfect album to bang your head to. Theory of A Deadman - 2008 - Scars and Souvenirs

Originally from Vancouver B.C. and signed by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback to his 604 Records label (where the band is still signed in Canada), Theory is following up a very successful sophomore album cycle (Gasoline) that included the huge radio hits "Santa Monica," "No Surprise" and "Hello Lonely." Theory are road dogs and expect to be on the road for 2 years straight to support their new album Scars and Souvenirs. The balanced 13-track effort is the polished and passionate testament to seven years of hard work, heavy touring and diligent attention to its craft. From the swirling grinds of the first single "So Happy" to the soaring melodicism of "Not Meant to Be" and "By The Way," Scars & Souvenirs is a broad-reaching endeavor that puts singer/guitarist Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner and bassist Dean Back high in the rock pantheon, achieving creative growth without sacrificing the hard-hitting power that got them here in the first place.

"It's the scars and souvenirs of your life," Connolly explains. "The songwriting on the record is really about someone's past or and present, their relationships and how they shape everything. It's more metaphorical than physical scars and trophies.We're just a hard-working band, man. We want to be out there for a couple of years and play these songs to everybody we possibly can." Tyler also contributed guitar and appeared in the video for Chad Kroeger's #1 smash hit "Hero," the theme song to the massive Spider-Man movie.

t.A.T.u. - 2005 - Dangerous and Moving

Three years after they were an international media sensation - hey, who doesn't like talking about and looking at Russian lesbian schoolgirls? - t.A.t.U. returned in 2005 with their second album, Dangerous and Moving. As Tommy Duncan sang, time does indeed change everything, and t.A.t.U. had a turbulent three years, separating from the Svengali manager and, most shocking of all, revealing that they weren't lesbians at all! In fact, Julia Volkova actually had a child, which kind of punctured the whole schoolgirl lesbian fantasy that had been pushed by the dearly departed manager in the first place. So, free to be themselves, t.A.t.U. decided to grow up for their second album - and nothing says maturity like ditching the short plaid skirts and bringing in Sting to play bass for a track, while hiring Richard Carpenter for a string arrangement for another. The presence of these two middlebrow titans may suggest that Dangerous and Moving sounds different than their debut, 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane, and while that's true to a certain extent, it's also misleading. Yes, there are a couple more ballads here, the Eurotrash quotient isn't quite so trashy (yet it's every bit as Euro), and, best of all, the girls' voices aren't run through the computer compressor that makes them sound as high and shrill as a drill. But all these little changes don't alter the duo's music much at all: they still make cold, crass, clinical dance-pop sung by two ciphers with thin, awkward voices. Like last time, they have one single with an insistent, repetitive hook built around the word "us" that opens the album (last time it was "Not Gonna Get Us," it's now the soundalike "All About Us"), and then they recycle that sound to staggeringly diminished returns for the remainder of the record. As Dangerous and Moving wears on - hell, by the second track - the icy digital sheen of the production starts to grate nearly as bad as the flat, bored vocals of the girls. Since the beats are monotonous, since the songs are insipid and forgettable, since the girls not only can't sing but have no on-record charisma, since there's no sense of style and, most importantly, sense of fun to this whole enterprise, Dangerous and Moving is the worst kind of pop music: the kind that is better to theorize about than to listen to. And now that they're not hot lesbian schoolgirls anymore, it's not even that much fun to theorize and argue about, since without the sapphic gimmick, t.A.t.U. simply doesn't have a reason to exist. Rush - 1981 - Moving Pictures

Not only is 1981's Moving Pictures Rush's best album, it is undeniably one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. The new wave meets hard rock approach of Permanent Waves is honed to perfection - all seven of the tracks are classics (four are still featured regularly in concert and on classic rock radio). While other hard rock bands at the time experimented unsuccessfully with other musical styles, Rush were one of the few to successfully cross over. The whole entire first side is perfect - their most renowned song, "Tom Sawyer," kicks things off, and is soon followed by the racing "Red Barchetta," the instrumental "YYZ," and a song that examines the pros and cons of stardom, "Limelight." And while the second side isn't as instantly striking as the first, it is ultimately rewarding. The long and winding "The Camera Eye" begins with a synth-driven piece before transforming into one of the band's more straight-ahead epics, while "Witch Hunt" and "Vital Signs" remain two of the trio's more underrated rock compositions. Rush proved with Moving Pictures that there was still uncharted territory to explore within the hard rock format, and were rewarded with their most enduring and popular album. (Anonymous)

Pink Floyd - 1979 - The Wall

The Wall," Pink Floyd's 1979 concept album about a rock star's mental breakdown, is a towering monster. It's an album with SO many audio, lyrical, musical & emotional nooks and crannies contained within, that one listen simply will not cut it. "The Wall" is not just an album to listen to, it's an album to be *explored*. It was inspired by then-bandleader Roger Waters' own mental collapse at the end of the Floyd's tour for the "Animals" album. Due to the grind of the mammoth stadium tour for "Animals," and sickened by seeing his own band, in his opinion, become part of the rock business "circus," Waters was mentally & emotionally exhausted beyond comprehension. At the final gig in Montreal, the ravaged Waters finally snapped, spitting in the face of a young fan sitting up front.

Coming home to England to recover, Waters finally decided to exorcise his demons by writing a conceptual piece about his disgust with his life as a rock star, and he began building "The Wall"....With the bulk of the double-album composed by Waters (with a few co-writing contributions from guitarist David Gilmour & producer Bob Ezrin), "The Wall" tells the story of a rock star named Pink and his downward spiral into madness. His father killed in the war when he was only a baby ("Another Brick In The Wall Part 1"), smothered by his overbearing mother ("Mother"), and subjected to abuse at school ("The Happiest Days Of Our Lives"/"Another Brick In The Wall Part 2"), Pink becomes a mental case almost from the word go, and he begins to build an emotional "wall" around himself to shelter him from further hurt. Somehow he still manages to grow up into a famous rock star, and he also marries. But too many shows, drugs and groupies ("Young Lust") make Pink a burnt-out case, separating him from his wife in more ways than one.

While away on tour, Pink's wife falls in love with another man. Finally sent over the edge by this, Pink destroys his hotel room and frightens away his groupie companion ("One Of My Turns"). His descent into madness---and the building of his wall---is now complete ("Don't Leave Me Now"/"Another Brick In The Wall Part 3"/"Goodbye Cruel World"). And that's only the first-half of the album....The second-half of "The Wall" tells of Pink's loneliness & isolation ("Hey You"/"Is There Anybody Out There"/"Nobody Home"), and his wild hallucinations as he sits drugged in his smashed-up hotel room, imagining the war that took his father's life ("Vera"/"Bring The Boys Back Home"). He's revived by a doctor just enough to get to the next concert ("Comfortably Numb"), where he hallucinates himself as a dictator with gargantuan contempt for his audience ("In The Flesh"/"Run Like Hell"/"Waiting For The Worms"). But ultimately, his conscience can't take it anymore ("Stop"), and he has a gut-wrenching struggle with himself, desperately trying to free himself from his dispair, and tear down the wall for good ("The Trial")....

Quite simply, "The Wall" is a rock masterwork, and arguably Roger Waters' greatest achievement as a composer. However, to think of the album simply as a "Roger Waters production" would be wrong. Though Waters IS, indeed, the main architect of "The Wall," bravely wearing his heart on his sleeve with his powerful songwriting and tortured singing (not to mention playing a mean bass throughout), the album still would not be what it is without the excellent contributions of guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour, who also shines on tracks like the smash hit, "Another Brick...Part 2" (featuring his most famous guitar solo ever recorded with the band), "Goodbye Blue Sky," "Young Lust," "Hey You" and "Comfortably Numb" (featuring yet another classic Gilmour guitar solo). Keyboardist Richard Wright & drummer Nick Mason are, admittedly, dwarfed somewhat on "The Wall" by the inclusion of various session players (that's Jeff Porcaro playing drums on "Mother," to name one example). Still, Mason & Wright appear often enough, and they make their contributions count.

The production on "The Wall" is also astounding---from the great stereophonic mix of the tunes themselves, to the treasure trove of sound effects & voices (such as fighter planes, helicopters, objects being smashed, singing schoolchildren, a telephone operator, a TV set playing "Gomer Pyle," and on and on), "The Wall" is truly a listening *experience*. Thankfully, Roger Waters, having left Pink Floyd in 1983, is living quite comfortably these days, no longer bothered by his rock star demons, and he continues to make great music on his own (he's also much more appreciative of his live audiences these days, thank goodness). Obviously for Waters, making "The Wall" was much-needed therapy. For Pink Floyd, "The Wall" became one of the group's biggest best-sellers, second only to "Dark Side Of The Moon." For the listener, "The Wall" is a spellbinding musical journey. It's music is at turns beautiful, haunting, and unquestionably powerful, and it's story is an absolutely gripping one. "The Wall" is a timeless, undisputed Pink Floyd classic. (Anonymous)
